Was in accident and unable to work and Security Finance would not work with me!

I had an accident and had to have surgery and was unable to work and Security Finance would not work with me! Called me everyday and left me threatening messages! Very rude Customer Service! Plus interest rates extremely high!

Calling you when your payment is just 1 day overdue.

When you take out a loan in the contract it simply says you have 5 days after your due date to pay. Why do they always call after just one day over due. After i pay them off i will not be useing this place again.

Harrassment obessive amount of calling

Security Finance in Hamilton Al .. I have a loan with them.. I have had the loan for almost 3 years. They have changed management a couple of times during this 3 years. They have a manager there that is awful. She calls my cell phone 6 times a day.. She will call my cell phone hang up and call my work place. She call both location about the same amount of time. On October the 5th was my breaking point with this company. I had originally told them I would be in on October 5th, I never gave a specific time as to what time I would arrive. I know their business ours are from 9:00-5:00 pm on Friday. I work almost those same hours. I am going to provide you the times.. Please also be advised I was not working on Friday, I had taking a vacation day. I was out handle family matter with my daughter. 1st call to my cell phone was 10:23 A.M. 2nd call to my cell phone was 11:15 AM 3rd call to my cell phone was 1:08 pm 4th call to my cell phone was 2:10 pm 4th call to my cell phone was 3:45 pm 5th call to my cell was 4:05 pm 1st call to my office phone was 1:07 pm 2nd call was 1:13 pm 3rd call was 3:46 pm There were other calls made through out that day, This is the only times that showed up with a log time.. They also, have 2 numbers 205-208-****, or a 205-921-**** that is registered to Wholesale Carrier.. I feel like they are harassing me.. When the lady kept calling for me at my job. She was rude and demanding my cell phone number for my co workers. Due to the line of business we work in she is not allowed to give out any of my personal information. Around 4:25 I asked one of my friends if she could swing by and pay Security Finance for me because they kept blowing my phone up, and calling my office a lot demanding my phone number. She did go over to pay Security Finance for me. However, when she arrived she paid and the first lady that she walked up to stated OK that she would mail the receipt to me. Then the manager of the store starting yelling at her and told her to wait a minute. She told her to tell me that I needed to handle my own business and she will not be taking any 3rd party payments from me again. My friend said she did not know what to think, so she called back and asked for the District Managers phone number, and she wanted to know who she was and why she wanted the number. She advised her because she was a customer that was just in there and she was rude and she wanted to speak with someone else. The manager told her she was not her customers and she would not give her the number. She advised she told her that's fine that she could just give them her number. She advised she would not do that either, My friend told that she was going to speak with her sup visor regardless of her help. She than started apologizing. I will be up front with you I get paid twice a month so sometimes they have to wait until I get paid in order to pay them, so it is not always on time. In the contract I do have a 10 day grace period to make my payments. My payments are never more than 15 days late.

Manager needs to be fired

manager frances yells at customers over the phone when i was in the office. She also had a custoner bring her donuts tyat couldnt even afford to pay his bill. She also saud to me when i cakked to pay my bill are you asking me or telling me and was very rude she needs to be fired

They wont do business with nobody

I tryed November 8 2018 they act like the wanted to help but then they got rude they dont want to approve no one here in Hamilton Alabama that just means they r just here to be rude and hateful they should be ran out of town bcs they dont care about people that poor business why let a loan company stay that treats people poorly bcs there alot of businessthat could come in that would treat there customer's with respect security loans is nothing but a poor excuse of a loan company so how do they stay in business treating there customer's like there a piece of trash and rude

Hardship

They gave me a hardship on my loan. After paying that on time for three months, in january 2018 the big shots came in from corporate and told them to cut the hardship out.

No word ubtil o stepped into the office to pay regular payment they told me that yhe hardships were turned into late payments and put as such on my credit report. You have to write corporate a letter for them to deal with it while they are all snug in their offcs! So now your credit is suffering!

They must be some kin to the president! Lets build a wall!!!

I borrowed $400 from these people Sept 2017. Then my job sends me to Europe for a month. OK, I try to call in the payment by Skype, but I need to be in the office. What can I do? I get a 30 day late, and after they called EVERYONE I knew to tell them I was late, I made the payment a week after I returned. Well, she tells me, you're STILL late. Ma'am, it's just after Christmas, I will get the arrears paid next paycheck. I do, then at the end of January I pay $270. I asked for a pay off amount. $156. Cool, I bring it in. But on my credit report, the loan is showing as an UNPAID 30-day late. In other words, I haven't acknowledged the pay-off. So at worst, the account should be closed at $0 balance with the late. So I call corporate who tells me "THEY DO NOT UPDATE ACCOUNTS OR CHANGE INFORMATION"! So, I'm just stuck with an open 30 day late for the next seven to ten years? And I just have to live with this. I think next year after I pay down my CC debt, I will be filing a suit, because this is ridiculous, and they are a horrible company I would NEVER recommend to my enemy.

I highly recommend you report your situation to the Better Business Bureau and call Equifax, Transunion, or Experian (I don’t know who Security Finance reports to) and let them you that you want to dispute how Security Finance has reported you on your credit report.

I worked there. We were made to call everyone 2x per day, if they didnt answer you had to call their job, landlords, and all references. Customers who were current we even were made to call atleast 4x per month to solicit them even if they said no.

very horrible company from the roach infested Racine, WI office to the main office. I seen a lady standing outside who t8kd me the company knew she didn't have a car and left her standing outside would not offer her a ride home shame on you security finance horrible company ashame be very ashame late and dark and freezing leave your employee outside

Not at all happy with there new management very rude

we have been with security for over 10 years and now with new ownership they haven't first could not find my payment i placed in there drop box they try to say i did not pay that they have cameras how rude then they find it did not say sorry and i for 3 weeks have yet received a receipt for october 2018 but they call and harass me for the next payment i what the receipt first. steve mazur they do not no there job they just threaten me but they get paid were is my receipt i have my western union receipt for proof that i paid them in there drop off

Customer service skills can really use improving

I have been an ongoing customer for a number of years & i have seen many new faces but this current crew by far is the most unprofessional i have ever dealt with. In all the time I have been a customer i have never been pelted with excessive calls.

I have been called when i have already given a promise date & I have been called after I made a payment stating i had not & the final one was roday to remind me about a payment when a promise date had already been established.

This was enough to make me want to pay out my account and take my business elsewhere. I have never missed, been late or anything so the incessant calling is definitely a deal breaker for me.

My Experience

I do not recommend this company they will call you from their company's phone, from another phone number inside their company, from tgeir personal cell phone numerous times of the day. i switched jobs on their *** They will even call block sometime if you refuse to answer from their company's phone i have been making increments on the amount i owe since starting a new job with under 20 hrs i told them i could pay what i can.

It always boils down to getting half way paying off the account when they wanna call you demanding that you renew your account so they can keep harassing you. They are about the same as rent a center as soon as i pay their *** off im officially done with loans period.

It was on August 24th around 1:30 pm in the afternoon while i was at work and i got in trouble by my manager and my franchise owner because they have been trying to get a hold of me. Ive been working alot and trying to catch up. I really appreciate that they not call my job anymore. I spoke to the branch manager and setup and arrangement but i had something else that came up.
